Resurrection Sunday Celebration The Boyd's Memorial Volunteer Chorus, wearing new purple-and-gold robes, provided the music for the 11 a.m. service on Resurrection Sunday. The Rev. Lawrence A. Davies, pastor of Shiloh Old Site, spoke on some of the ways that Christ's resurrection can strengthen us in the here and now, using as his text the story of Christ's appearances to Mary Magdalene and the doubting disciple known as Thomas. His text was drawn from John 20:14-18 and John 20:24-29.
