Sermon The Rev. Lawrence A. Davies (right) presented a sermon entitled, "God's Greatest Gift." His sermon was inspired by Galatians 2:8, in which faith is described not as something which we ourselves achieve but rather as a gracious gift of God. He developed the sermon by showing the superiority of faith to the other "gifts" which we sometimes seek: human wisdom, human power, material possessions, human fame, and the like. He said that the faith that God gives us through our relationship with Jesus gives us so much love and joy and hope that we are able to share those gifts with others.
