Worship Service, Sunday, January 21, 2007

Then Peter, turning about, seeth the disciple whom Jesus loved... And Peter, seeing him, saith to Jesus, "Lord, and what shall this man do?" Jesus saith unto him, "What is that to thee? Follow thou me."

John 21:20-22

OUR 11:00 A.M. SERVICE on Sunday, January 21, 2007, included a sermon by our pastor, the Rev. Lawrence A. Davies, on John 21:20-22, where Peter inquires about the future struggles and blessings of another disciple, and Jesus responds by saying, "What is that to you? Just go ahead and follow me." The sermon, entitled, "The Lord is my shepherd," explored the ways in which we can get distracted by others, who may criticize us or seem more successful than us or more spiritual than us or unfocused than us, when what we really need to focus on is our own walk with Christ.Excerpts from the sermon can be heard by clicking some of the links below.

Music for the service was provided by our Gospel Choir. Excerpts from some of the music can be heard by clicking some of the links below.
