Shiloh Old Site Congregational Service Ministries

Greeters

THE BOOK OF REVELATION speaks about a great voice out of heaven saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them and be their God."

Likewise, the Bible tells us that "we are to develop the habit of greeting one another as Christ greets us."

Shiloh Old Site's greeters stand at the door to welcome those who enter our place of worship each Sunday morning. Some greeters serve just for a single Sunday. Others serve on a rotating basis from time to time.

More greeters are always needed.

All who share in our services are blessed by the many faithful and committed members who participate in this ministry of welcome and greeting. Each person who enters the doors of Shiloh Old Site receives a blessing.

Greeters don't need to know everyone by name. Greeters can be new members of Shiloh Old Site -- or long-time members. They can be young or old -- or somewhere in between.

To participate in this ministry, please contact one of the following:

Mrs. Janice Davies (540.373.6226)

Mrs. Jean Dixon Cox (540.786.4939)

Or you may send an email to Mrs. Jean Dixon Cox by clicking here.
