If you are patient, the image above will transform itself from 1922 to 2004 and then back to 1922 again.
Historical Transformation LIKE EVERY CHURCH, Shiloh Baptist Old Site of Fredericksburg, Virginia, has been constantly changing, drawn by God's Spirit through paths of love and grace. But even as it changes, Shiloh Baptist Old Site holds fast to God's unchanging hand, treasuring the wisdom of the past, the joy of the present, and the hope of the future. The photo above is designed to transform itself from 1922 to 2004 and back again, repeating the cycle endlessly as long as you stay on this page. (How quickly it changes and how smoothly it changes depends in part on your Internet connection.) Both the 1922 photo and the 2004 photo were taken in front of the church building on Sophia Street, down by the riverside in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Each photo shows only a small portion of the congregation at the time that it was taken. To learn more about our church's history, click here.
