Let us go into the house of the Lord;

our feet shall stand within

thy gates, O Jerusalem!

It's easy to get to

Shiloh Baptist Church

(Old Site)

WE ARE LOCATED on the banks of the Rappahannock River, at the corner of Hanover and Sophia Streets in downtown Fredericksburg, Virginia. The address is 801 Sophia Street, Fredericksburg, Virginia. There is easy access from anywhere in the greater Fredericksburg area.

Fredericksburg Area Regional Transit buses stop a block or two away on Caroline or Princess Anne streets (depending on the direction that they're traveling). The Fredericksburg Amtrak and VRE station (at Caroline Street and Lafayette Boulevard) is less than a half mile away and an easy walk.

If you're driving, parking is available in a large, free city parking lot. You can enter the parking lot from Sophia Street, just a few doors north of the church. Or you can enter from Hanover Street, just behind the church. There is also street parking on various streets near the church, and just two blocks away (at Sophia and Wolfe streets) is the city parking garage where parking is free for the first two hours at any time.

On Sundays, the curb area immediately in front of the church is reserved for dropping off and picking up passengers.

For a close-up Google map (which includes a handy option for getting complete walking or driving directions to the church from your location), click here.

The map below will give you a general idea of the church's location.

If you need a ride to church, that's no problem. Our church van or mini-bus can pick you up. Please call the church office during the week (540-373-8701) to arrange for van pick-up.
