Here is two brief snippets from a sermon by the Rev. Lawrence A. Davies (upper right), preaching on "When Faith Is Real." The sermon was based on Luke 5:17-21, where some people bring a paralyzed friend to Jesus to be healed, overcoming the crowd that surrounds Jesus by lowering their friend through the roof. When Jesus sees their determination to help someone else, he commends their faith, for faith that is real always leads to reaching out with help and support and concern for someone else. Remember that the "sound only" excerpt will download much faster than the video clips.
