Shiloh Old Site Youth Ministries
ACTIVITIES FOR CHILDREN AND YOUTH include: > Church school classes every Sunday morning at 9:30 p.m. > Scouting programs for girls and boys of all ages, meeting weekly except during the summer > A youth choir open to all children and youth, singing at 11 a.m. on the third Sunday of most months (as well as on other special occasions) > A youth praise dance team open to both male and female dancers > A "junior ushers" ministry that serves at the 11 a.m. service on the third Sunday of most months > An annual Youth Sunday every April with a special speaker, accompanied by a week of special youth programs and activities > Children and youth normally read scripture, lead in prayer, provide a welcome to visitors, and serve in other special ways at the 11 a.m. service on the third Sunday of every month > Special trips and outings from time to time > Other special programs as announced
From time to time, there have also been other opportunities, including a mission trip to Ghana, Africa, and occasional youth retreats. Scholarships are available for new and continuing college students who have ties to Shiloh Old Site. The application deadline is May 15 each year.
